Right next to rowing lake. Children competing at rowing event.Rooms very comfortable, quiet, very well equiped
On arrival after a 3 hour drive was told that the hotel restaurant was not available for dinner due to a private function. This was not advised at booking. Was recommended by receptionist to use the adjacent pub restaurant which was overcrowded, extremely noisy with a pubfood menu!. I am not at all happy booking three rooms at a hotel of this standard for a family stay to be told the restaurant is not available Did not wish to eat as a family of four from room service trays on the bed!
Up grade to suite room at same charge helpfull staff
1st room no lights, 2nd room lots of bed bugs, 3rd room suite no cleaner on 2nd day spoke to manager he said trying to save the enviroment did collect small towels from reception needs refittngs from floor tiling to new furniture lets hope they threw away that mattres my wifes hands and arms went red.
Comfortable rooms, quiet, wonderful location and I really enjoyed sitting on the deck having breakfast.
I was disappointed that the beds were either not made or not made properly and that the tea/coffee tray had not been replenished as it should have. For the price paid, I would also expected a larger room.
The location was terrific, view of rowing lake fabulous when u have a lakeside view room. Lovely walks possible. Staff very helpful. Car essential as in countryside location.
First room had no bath but we were changed without a problem.rooms and facilities were 'tired' but staff excellent!
General facilities, inc. Room, quite good.
Restaurant food dissapointing - mainly due to tough chicken. We had a refund on one main meal and staff were very good about it but they need to either change chicken suppliers or change the way it's cooked.
Convenient to where I needed to be, restaurant was fine although a lot of tables had been reserved therefore not giving us a choice of table location.
We were not pre-informed that there was a dance going on until l1.00am with very loud music.
staff are good and the was very clean room excellent views
helpful staff, great disabled facilities, easy to go out into surrounding countryside or into town. loads to see , do, visit
Friendly staff, superb location, comfortable accommodation and convenient for shops, sightseeing and access to motorway and various A roads.
the hotel was fantastic the staff we"re very helpful and friendly would definatly stay there again and reccommend it to anyone.
friendly helpfull staff, I was upgraded to a suite very nice but a little dusty, room let down by small things, broken wand on blinds meaning they were very difficult to close, loose/broken chain on sink plug and as i have allready mentioned build up of dust on ledges. All very small things that make a big difference.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bar always had someone in which was nice as travelling alone I didn't feel that I was isolated and there was a good atmosphere. I had a lovely view from my room over the lake. The pub next door was handy and served nice food at reasonable prices - again this was busy and had a good atmosphere.
The breakfast selection was a little small.
Pleasntly surprised. Excellent room and view of lake. Night porter really helpful as were staff in restaurant at breakfast m Holt
The staff were great, very frriendly and helpful. the food was fine. rooms were very clean, could had done with more milk and sugers in the room as there was 3 of us staying in each of them. we had to ask for another cup. the views were lovely looking over the lake. we all had a very nice stay, we would come back again to stay there..
i can not fault the Ramada in any way
Location to town, Peterborough centre is a 1 mile walk away.
You may wish to phone ahead once booking is complete if you book anything other than a double room, we have made several bookings and it's a lottery if they get your request of "twin room please". A phone call could save a lot of time when you arrive! The drinks from behind the bar can be "hit and miss", it seems to be the glass cleaner. The pub next door is nice enough to make up for this though.
